    • In 1899 Margaret/Maggie Grant married Patrick Martin - also from Carrigans townland. In the 1901 census they are living in a thatched house in Carrigans and have a one-year-old son Michael Martin. In 1907 Maggie is with her mother Bridget Grant (formerly McVarry) when she died.
      By the 1911 census Maggie & Patrick have 6 children and live in Carnally (between Dorsey & Silverbridge).
