  This Patrick Murphy is identified as the father of Patrick Murphy in the 1865 marriage records of the younger Patrick. This Patrick is a farmer but in 1865 is deceased. In 1878 the younger Patrick takes over house & land from Terence Murphy who had died two years bore aged 95. Since younger Patrick's dad was dead Terence Murphy must be the grandfather of Terence and father of this Patrick Murphy. In 1884 the younger Patrick takes over house & land close-by from Margaret Murphy. Margaret had died two years before aged 87 where it was recorded she is the widow of Patrick Murphy - Patrick's father. So Patrick is taking over land his mother inherited on the death of her husband.
